FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about my practice and services.

  • I am not in-network with any health insurance plans. However, I do provide invoices that you can submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

  • I see patients for 25-30 medication management visits or 45-50 minute combined psychotherapy and medication management or psychotherapy only visits. When you schedule an appointment, I will provide a Good Faith Estimate of the costs of treatment. According to the federal No Surprises Act, I am required to provide you this at least 1 business day before your scheduled visit. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate or your ability to dispute a bill, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.

  • I will be up-front with you if I don't think that I can help you and will try to provide you with an appropriate referral. If you are worried about our "fit," I recommend that you contact me to schedule a free phone consultation (5-15 minutes) to discuss your situation. I may insist upon this if I have my own concerns.

  • The frequency of visits is highly variable and is tailored to your particular clinical situation.

  • For prospective patients, please use the contact form on my website indicating the reasons that you are seeking treatment. If you are a current patient, you may e-mail me regarding non-clinical matters such as scheduling appointments and billing. For clinical matters, please call me.

  • Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
